Gold Membership on Forza 3: TOTAL RIP-OFF

Author: After I bought the game, I realised that the computer is far too easy and the game gets boring and dull after you reach a certain level of proficiencies. The next step was setting up a network on my xbox so that I could enjoy playing online.
It took me resources and time to get the network finally up and running and to my surprise multiplayer online is only available to GOLD MEMBERS!
What the hell is that about???? That is a load of bollocks. In addition to paying for the game they want me to pay each month for the basic player right to play online: this is a complete rip off and microsoft once more has proven that in one way or the other they will get your cash out of the pockets.
What are the alternatives? Nothing really because with a silver membership you dont even get your money back when bidding for a car in the auction house! WHAT A LOAD OF CRAP!
I am so disgusted because they should have at least allowed the options to play with your friends online in private events: the lobby can remain for gold membership players anyway (which is crap anyways cos everybody races like maniacs and use all wheel drive cars so they are unbeatable, which does not apply to reality as i have never seen a 4×4 dodge viper beat a ferrari what bollocks.)
THe only option remaining is having a friend over and playing split screen which is crap because the graphics suffer and you dont have cockpit view etc…
Forza is a good game, but this rip off certainly will make me buy a ps3 in future as the new grand turismo certainly looks amazing.
